About Dream Center
The Dream Center for Girls is committed to providing quality safe and effective services to the youth in our care. Recognizing that emergencies and disaster can happen, although we strive to prevent them, we have established comprehensive plans to assure our program works hand in hand with our local emergency services, such as the police and fire departments as well as the Ohio Department of Children and Youth to assure the safety and care of the youth in our care.
Additionally, all of our staff members receive upon hire and annually thereafter, comprehensive safety training, with an emphasis on Medical Emergency Safety. Staff are educated on recognizing emergencies, including when to contact 911, as well as coordinating with the hospital as needed. In each of our sites, we have posted the emergency numbers for ease of access.
The Dream Center for Girls recognizes the importance of integrating our youth into our neighborhood and the local community. We have created a Community Engagement Plan, posted on this website. Our efforts include sharing with our neighbors the type of program and services we offer, as well as ways to contact you with feedback or concerns to ensure we maintain a positive relationship together.
